It was a nice New Year. We all had a good time at dinner last night at the Turning Stone and then with you and Maddie spending the night. Then we traveled to Rochester with your Mom and the rest of the kids to show off Lyla to the Grandparents and celebrate Christmas with Courtney and family. It was a good time.

Camdyn, we had a great time Friday and Saturday with you and your family. Going to your hospital visit and hearing that your are doing great made me very happy. Having you, Maddie, Jack and Mommie spend the night and then go shopping on Saturday was tiring but we all had a good time. Topping it off with dinner with everyone, including your Daddy and Charlie (who spent the day cutting up wood) made the night complete. Keep up the good work.

The number 9 was a special number for you recently: 9 months OT and 9 year anniversary. You have Aubrielle beat on the 9 months OT (she is nearing 7) but the wife and I have you beat on the anniversary (we are at 12). But you win the tiebreaker with more kids :) Anyhow, congrats on the 2 wonderful milestones and more to come in the future!

It seems like forever for him. I couldn't wait to get where we are though.. we finally are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. God bless

Hi Lindsay,
I took a picture of Camdyn and Bella on Tues with my camera phone and now every time I open my phone to use it, I get to see their pretty smiling faces. It makes my heart so happy to see those girls so healthy and happy, they are brave, fighter kids, who inspire us to live fully each day!!
God Bless you all

I often come here because Tony and your husband are Red Sox fans... but in your journal I found a mirror of what a mother and father of a sick child feel. I can't tell you how many times I complain of a headache or something so minimal as a pain in my elbow.. and then I look at my son and thank God for his courage and strength also and as you know Tony... he was looking right back at me with that look that only he can give.. it's meaning was priceless! Obviously I stopped complaining immediately ..lol Hope you all are having the time of your lives at camp!

I am glad to hear you all had a nice weekend! Happy belated birthday! :) :)

I bet Camdyn, Charlie and their cousins had a GREAT time in the parade! That is really neat! :) What a great experience!

Im sorry to hear Madeline had an ear infection! :( I am glad she is doing better now! :)

I sure hope that the adjustments to Camdyn's chemo will help balance her counts! Her hemoglobin is pretty low......especially for maintenance therapy! Hoping it rises soon! It could be because Camdyn's marrow is just really really tired from all the chemo she has received for the past few years! I hope that it will be in perfect range next time her counts are checked!~

Hoping you all have a wonderful week!

Hey, Camdyn ! missed you at bible study wednsday.I was late getting home and I was pretty tired. How are you feeling? I think about you often and pray for you and your family. You really have been through a lot.God certainly has picked a cute little girl to care for.

Chuck and Lindsay, I keep you and the family constantly in my prayers.God is good all the time, even when He might seem distant. He is always only a whisper away eager to show His love and power, mercy and grace. He even forgives when our faith wavers. You both show what the Lord can do when we place our lives and the lives of the ones we love in His hands, unconditionally, good day or bad.Continue to trust that He has Camdyns life securely wrapped in His hands and is in complete control of everything.Don't be afraid to pour out your heart to Him with all your concerns, stay in the Word and your eyes on a Risen Savior ! I hope you all have a terrific week and look forward to seeing you guys soon! By maddi, camdyn, charlie and jack. Give mommy and daddy big hugs, cuz I'll bet they need it.God bless you all

Hi Lindsey!

Oh! I am just so sorry to hear that Camdyn is not feeling well and that you all ended up in the ER! Mystery fevers are such a pain! I hope that her fever is now gone and I sure hope that her cough clears soon! Poor little one! I was so sad to read that her cough was so bad that it caused the blood vessel to pop in her eye! :(

I hope the inhaler is working and that before you know it her cough is gone and she is back to feeling great........hopefully before the holiday weekend! :)

Keeping my fingers crossed for NO neutropenia! Oh! The joy of the ANC count roller coaster! :)

The pictures of Camdyn, Madeline, and Jack are adorable! How cute! I love the playset! It looks like they are having a BLAST! :) That is great! :)

Awe~ The tooth fairy will be visiting Madeline soon! Too cute!

Jack is adorable! Little babies just look so darn cute when their teeth start coming in!

I hope that you all have a wonderful Holiday weekend!

Take care and Best wishes! :)

Camdyn~ Get well soon little one! I am so sorry that you are not well!

I noticed your signature in someone else's web site and just wanted to say hello. Cam is a beautiful little girl. I am so sorry that she is so sick. I am a single mom with one daughter (now 17 and pregnant with her own child) and I just can not imagine the trials you all have to live with. My own everyday trials are so minor compared to yours. I will think of you when my own life gets me down. God truly has blessed you all with amazing love for each other and strength to draw on during this time of trial. I pray that he continues to do so and for complete healing for Camdyn. You have a beautiful family. God bless you!

How wonderful you are doing the Lighthouse retreat, I have heard so many wonderful things about it and had actually picked this same week you are going as the one for us, but I cancelled the trip for a couple reasons, one being it didn't quite match the kids school vacation and with 4 kids being pulled out of school it didn't make sense when I really thought about it and I also admit I was concerned about the "religious" aspect of it and was not sure if it was really what suited Frank. So I will be anxious to hear how it is through you.
Have a great time and Camdyn you are so sweet the way you were giving Bella lovies on Tuesday!

Hey Little One, hang in there. It is no fun and so frustrating watching you try to eat, having it hurt so much that you can't, and then you get so mad because you can't and want to. I really do hope that this passes soon. The fever and not knowing why has got your grandmother and I worried but we know that they will get a handle on it and it will be history. We are praying each and every day for you to get better and know that it will happen. Love you-Grandpa

Hello from Tony Servello's mom!( Your Red Sox buddy's mom) Tony was in the clinic for his vincristine today and also to replenish his dreaded supply of steroids this week. I hope your family is enjoying the summer. I saw many relatives from my mom's side of the family this week end and I had such a wonderful time with all the little kids. I miss them at that age. My relatives ranged from 3 years old to 96 years old! Tony did well today and his counts are good. Zarina made him run down the hall because she couldn't believe the progress his legs are making so she had to see it for herself! I wasn't there so I made him do it for me when I got home from work and cried! Yup I did! Last year he was in a wheelchair and leg braces! He still has no reflexes but in 2 years when he is off the vincristine we hope there is no permenant damage. Between the vincristine and his poor nutrition last year did a job on his legs. He is the first one to be at the very end of the "bell curve" -as Dr. D. would say- and we all worried about permenant damage. Every step God has been with him and us.. Isn't life just wonderful! Hope to see you at the Grosso's with your entire clan. Blessed be......

Congratulations on the new edition to your family. I came to see if the blessed event happened but you didn't update so I thought you must be busy with the new little guy.. I don't want to upset you but Tony's dad actually said the following ," If it wasn't for the Yankees, no one would even know who the Red Sox were." Tony looked almost as sick as the day they diagnosed him with cancer!!!!!!! Praise God no one was hurt during that statement or should I brain lapse!!!! Take care.. God bless all your wonderful family

It was so nice having you and Maddie with us Friday to visit you cousins in Rochester and then spend the night at our house. You are handling everything that is happening to your body with such strength. I don't know of any adults that would put up with what you have had to. You make us so proud. Camdyn, you are really amazing. We spent the day at Renaissance Festival and you were a bundle of energy the entire day. You smiled, played, ran around, ate a great lunch and generally had fun with Maddie, Charlie, your parents, and us. It was great seeing you have a good time. To hear you laugh during the joist was a riot. I know that there will be some more hard times but I also know that with God's love and His loving arms around you, you will make it through. Camdyn, it's so good to see your smile and hear you laugh again. And while you're still not yourself, you are more you than you have been in the past 6 weeks. We are grateful for the outcomes of the first rounds of treatment and are very hopeful the next rounds will do what they are supposed to do--make you completely well! We are stopped every day by friends and acquaintances to ask how you, your mom and dad, Maddie and Charlie are doing. And when we tell them they reassure us they are still keeping you in their prayers. And we say we know because you are on the road to cure and that things are going according to plan. We also ask them to keep praying so you can continue to heal and get better. We're always here for you. Love, Grandma Sandle

Camdyn, although you have been so weak during the past month, you have relied on your mom and myself for support, even if it was to simply get up off the floor. Please know that your mother and I will always be here for you to support and love you in everyway we can. Your smile, these past few days has been a tremendous blessing for us to see. Later on in life when this is but a distant memory, we will sit down and talk about all of the lives that were brought to your side to love you and hold you up in prayer asking for God's healing power. Through all of the tears that have been shed and more to come I'm sure, you have truly been our little miracle girl. I love you !!!

Once again a week has passed and our prayers are with you Cam. We love you so much and wish we could take some of the pain and hurt from you. You are eating like a horse which is so comical for us but we know that it's a necessity for you (and a side effect of the medicine). You are so tiny and small but have more strength and courage than most of us adults. You try to put on a brave face and we all love you so dearly. My prayers are with you throughout the day and every day we pass. Our light at the end of the tunnel (day 29) is soon approaching and we pray to God in Heaven to have mercy on you and that your tests will go well. God is a good God and He will protect you and keep you safe! We are anxious to see the happy little face of yours smiling once again! Keep up the good work and I love you Cam! Your fav. Auntie Angie!

Camdyn, Reading the passages & sentiments sent recently by your family & friends, I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, caring & concern. You have made an incredible impact on many individuals in your young life, both near and far away. You have a family who loves you very much and you are the sunshine of their lives. At this very moment, Marilyn is driving your great-Grandma and great-Grandpa (who just so happen to be two of the finest individuals who have ever graced this earth) up to New York to see you. You are very lucky to have been born into such a wonderful and caring family. Your family's legacy has been to love & serve God above all else. Please know that we are praying for you in Florida and will rejoice when we hear the news of your full & complete recovery. I believe that God hears our prayers and will bring comfort to you & your family.

You are such a strong little girl. Watching you go through this is one of the hardest things I have ever done. I so wish I could make it all better but know that I can't. That hurts, not being able to make it all better. What I can do is pray that God's love will enfold you and your family (Lindsey, Chuck, Maddie, & Charlie) and help you get through this.
