Hello Everyone - I can no longer access the front page of this website as it is too old..go figure!

As I type this annual entry, Jake is in his room and I am sure working hard to clean it before family comes over (not). He came home after his first year away at college and decided not to go back to MN - it just was not for him. Instead he is going to a local state school for now until he decides what he wants to do specifically. He is still a science major.

This year, he went to camp with his One Step friends and really hung around them throughout the year. He worked at State Fair and Summerfest Grounds at the SkyGlider. He now drives to school in Steve's old Audi.

Erin is a sophomore and had a tough year, tearing her ACL in January and had surgery and rehabbed all year. She never left the gym and is now back competing with her high school team. She babysat this summer as well as worked as a coach for youth gymnastics, which she really likes.

Steve continues to work for United Heartland and puts lots of miles on his car driving in the "I" states, IL - IA - IN. I am still full time at the college and teaching Accounting and a Business Development class.

As the day is just above zero in WI, take a minute to enjoy your surroundings and family. WE continue to be so blessed with health that is good and family and friends that are wonderful.

Love to you all,
The Zajc's.

Congratulations Jake and family. Three years off treatment. It looks as though you all found a warm place to spend Christmas 2004. This picture really shows that there is life after Rhabdo and we celebrate with you.

Our boy Mitchell, is also three years off treatment this month. We just completed his scans for this year and expect yet another clean bill of health! Our motto was Restore in 04 and now it's thrive in 05!

To God be the glory.

Hello Jake and family,

It's wonderful to go through my list and see there are still kids doing great post treatment. As I know you understand it's a mixed set of emotions where your child is doing great and others are not. I share joy with you that my son is also one of the survivors and soon will be considered long term. Not a day goes by that I don't praise the Lord my our miracle and pray for someone else's suffering and battling.

Thank you for updating us again with the wonderful progress Jake is making.

May the Lord continue to bless and heal our children. James

Hi Jake, We are so happy that you are OK. How was the concert? Have you been fishing on your Dad's boat yet? We are going to the Cape today for vacation. Tommy and Kevin are very excited. Did you hear about the big blackout in New York? Everything is almost back to normal and we have our electricity back so we are doing OK. Please tell Ms. Erin we said hi. Yay...that is great news! We have been thinking of you after reading the previous entries, and are very happy for Jake and you that the scans came back ok. :> Our daughter, Sierra (6), has Rhabdo and goes in for her first scans (3 month) tomorrow. A little difficult to sleep tonight, but Sierra is just 1/4 through a year of treatment. It gives us confidence to hear about Jake's good news....thank you for the is very helpful for parents in our situation.

Just wanted to drop a note and say "I care and I will be praying for you". My almost 6 year old daughter has had Rhadbo. She was dx four years ago and has been clear for 3 years. There are scares along the way, but keep the faith! Pulling for you!

Sending up prayers for a negative biopsy!!!! I can only imagine how terrifying the waiting must be. Our baby girl is only 4 months away from completing 48 weeks of chemo for Rhabdo then we will begin the second half of the journey that you are on now, but we have faith that God will not let our little ones down (including your little Jake).

Remembering you in prayer,
